Wharton Magazine: Giving Shelter to Shut out Slavery Sindhura Sarikonda, a second-year Wharton MBA student and winner of the 2015 CommonBond Social Impact Award, works to stop human trafficking as founder and president of Sanlaap North America. Her organization has rescued and sheltered more than 300 victims of trafficking as well as trained and employed more than 1,200 at-risk girls.

Poets & Quants: Paying Off $150K In MBA Debt In Five Years CommonBond Vice President of Marketing Phil DeGisi describes how he shed $150,000 in student loans quickly after graduating from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. He recommends budgeting well, limiting splurges and setting up automatic payments for student loan payments. "There are companies like CommonBond now that will refinance your loan to a lower interest rate," DeGisi said. "That's something that I wish was around when I was coming out of school with my debt. It's giving people a set of options that didn't exist before."
