Join CommonBond for Our Return to Ghana in 2016!

CommonBond is traveling to Ghana for our 2nd annual trip next year to see firsthand how our Social Promise is changing lives.  And we want you to join us.

We are offering a free, once-in-a-lifetime trip for two of our borrowers to visit a Pencils of Promise school in Ghana next falland we're opening up two of those spots now!

You'll meet students, teachers and local community members and see the difference your loan is making in the lives of children enjoying access to an amazing education.

What: A free trip to Ghana for borrowers to experience the social impact we are making together. The itinerary will include a visit to a Pencils of Promise school along with meeting students, teachers and community members.

Who: You'll travel with CommonBond and Pencils of Promise staff along with fellow CommonBond borrowers.

When: Fall of 2016. Exact timing will be announced early 2016.

How: To apply to be one of the borrowers chosen, email Ghana2016@commonbond.co with a link to a video (2 minutes or less) that answers the question: How has education affected your life? *

Your video can be uploaded to any video service you like (it can be set to private, just send the link to us). Feel free to use your phone or a video camera to share your video Spielberg-esque video skills are not required!

* Entries must be from a CommonBond borrower and received by midnight EST December 15, 2015. Winning entries will be selected by January 7, 2016.

Note that because this is international travel and to Ghana specifically, there will be paperwork and vaccinations you must get prior to traveling. We will walk you through exactly what needs to be done and by when. You will be responsible for the cost of any expenses related to this.
